Kappa Delta Rho Chapter Wins NIC Award of Distinction

GREENSBURG, PA – The Beta Gamma Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho at Christopher Newport University was recently announced by the North-American Interfraternal Conference (NIC) as one of four chapters to be awarded the NIC Award of Distinction this year. The award will be formally presented at a banquet during the NIC Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. on April 22nd.
The Awards of Distinction are one way the NIC seeks to advocate for the fraternity experience and educate others about the positive achievements of fraternity men, chapters, and councils across North America. Additionally, an Award of Distinction serves as a way for the NIC to recognize and advance full standards compliance and implementation. When groups say that the standards are "impossible" or "too lofty", they are able to point to their winners and say, "think again". Applicants are required to provide detailed accounts of their operations and corroborating accounts and evidence of their achievements and the Beta Gamma Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho has certainly added new lustre to our name.
Kappa Delta Rho is an American college social fraternity spread throughout the United States. The fraternity places emphasis on Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, Service, and Tradition. Kappa Delta Rho’s open motto is "Honor Super Omnia", or "Honor Above All Things". More information about Kappa Delta Rho can be found online at
